Calibration Analysis of Horizontal and Vertical Burning Tester

Author: Date :2022-06-06 Views: order

The horizontal and vertical combustion tester is not only suitable for the research, production and quality inspection departments of lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances, household appliances, motors, tools, instruments and other equipment and electrical connectors and other electrical and electronic plastic or rubber products and their components and parts, but also suitable for Type approval of insulating materials, engineering plastics, fire blocking materials or other solid combustible materials industries.

1. Calibration of combustion tester

Calibration purpose and requirements The calibration of the test flame is the basic guarantee for the test to ensure the reliability of the test. The test requires a 50w flame height of 20±1mm, a 500w flame with an external yellow flame height of 125mm and an internal blue flame height of 40mm; using the flame to heat the copper block, the time required for the warm copper block to rise from 100 degrees to 700 degrees is 50W. The test flame is 44±2s, 500W test flame is 54±2s

2. Calibration method

Generally, a flame gauge is used, and the calibration copper block is accurately heated by a flame.

3. Calibration test

The heating time of flame calibration requires the time required for the temperature measuring copper block to rise from 100 degrees to 700 degrees. The 50W test flame is 44±2s, and the 500W test flame is 54±2s

Test: 50w horizontal combustion test

1) Enter the 50w horizontal combustion test operation interface from the touch screen

2) At 25mm and 100mm at one end of the pattern, draw two marking lines perpendicular to the long axis, and at the other end of the 25mm mark, make the sample parallel to the vertical axis, and clamp the sample at a position inclined 45 degrees to the horizontal axis. The relative position of the lamp and the sample is adjusted

3) Rotate the pressure gauge, the pressure gauge is only used for switching applications, and generally does not display readings, so that the flowmeter shows suitable gas flow, and then fine-tune the flowmeter

4) Press the ignition button on the instrument panel to light the Bunsen burner

5) Adjust the gas flow, and adjust the knurled nut at the lower end of the Bunsen burner so that when the lamp is in a vertical position, a blue flame with a height of 20mm is produced. Tilt the Bunsen burner 45 degrees.

6) Push the Bunsen burner push rod, push the Bunsen burner to the position, and the flame time starts to count down

7) When the flame time is over, pull back the Bunsen burner. After the flame application is stopped, if the sample continues to burn (including flame burning or flameless burning), use the buttons on the panel to record the burning time t (in seconds) from the 25 mm mark on the burning front to the end of burning, and record the time from 25 mm to the end of burning. The length L of the burning loss from the mm marking line to the end of the burning end, (unit: mm).

Note: If the burning front crosses the 100mm mark, record the time t required for burning from the 25mm mark to the 100mm mark. At this time, the burning loss length is 75mm. If the ignition source is removed, the flame is extinguished or the burning front is not When reaching the 25mm mark, the burning time, burning loss length and linear burning speed are not considered.
